Getting
Stronger!
Meet Garret Hermes
On June 21, 2024 Garret Hermes was a 24 year old teacher, coach, and former college athlete, when a diving accident changed his life forever, leaving him paralyzed from the chest down. As an athlete, Garret has always known the meaning of discipline, resilience, and the daily grind. But this challenge is an entirely new playing field, one that demands not only physical strength, but also unshakable courage of spirit and mental toughness. Through faith, resilience, and the support of family, friends, and community, his story has become the heart behind the Garret Hermes Foundation.
